eeros are designed to deliver the fastest WiFi connection possible in any configuration, so while wiring isn’t necessary, it may help to increase the speed and strength of the signal throughout your home. They're also more prone to interference since they have to share the airways with other devices that are also broadcasting. Wireless links are typically slower than wired connections. If your home was built with wired Ethernet in mind, hardwiring your eeros is always an option.

Once your network is up and running, feel free to spread your eeros out around your home.
